Excellent French violin, Collin-Mézin fils.(made by - not workshop) - made ca 1940

This beautiful instrument is wearing its original label, and comes with a certificate of authenticity .

A beautiful reddish-brown varnish ;a superbe 2-piece back, flamed ribs, a very nice scroll..

The sound is strong, well projected, with a lot of personality.

This Collin-Mezin violin has a singing; well-balanced tone. 

New tailpiece and strings included.

Many of his instruments were made for his father and follow his model, but he eventually developed a more personal style.
