French cello by Geronimo Grandini - Jerome Thibouville Lamy ca 1920.

A beautiful, rare and authentic French 4/4 cello by JTL,  Geronimo Grandini, made ca 1920.

This lovely old cello is original labelled :
'Le petit fils de Geronimo Grandini, Paris - JTL"... and is a nice example
of the best French Mirecourt work.

The cello has its beautiful original oil varnish, with new bridge and strings and carbon endpin.

The cello has a few rib repairs of old (repaired) traces of worm wear, therefore, the cello will be offered as an instrument in need of restauration. 

No sound post cracks.
