 Hermann Richard Pfretzschner is considered to be one of the very best, and most important figures in the history of German bow making. 

 He worked for one year in the shop of J.B. Vuillaume in Paris,

The beautiful Hermann Richard Pfretzschner violin bow is made of the highest-quality brown pernambuco.
The bow is silver mounted - with original H.R. brand stamp on the stick, and typical stamp on the frog. (made between 1910- 1920).

The stick is strong without being to stiff, well balanced, and responds quick and accurate.
This bow is in a good condition, ready to play.
A good elegant bow with great balance and a fine feel in the right hand.
The total bow length is around 72.7 cm and the weight of the bow is 60.5 gr.
