A beautiful master violin made by Johann Gottfried Hamm 1775.
This German master violin is a magnificently crafted instrument - from the 18th century from the Vogtland region in Germany.
HAMM, Johann Gottfried Born 1744, died 1817 Markneukirchen Germany.
Became a Master of the Violin Makers' Guild 1764. 
Johann Gottfried Hamm is well known as one of the most important craftsmen of his Klingenthal family in Germany. This beautiful 18th century violin is wearing its original label, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Beautiful individual style !. The sound is open but warm, well projected and strong.

The violin has a small professional repair at the table, (non important place).
New tailpiece and strings included.
