A Beautiful violin by the Klotz family.
A beautiful old violin - made by a member of the the famous Klotz family in Mittenwald - Germany, ca 1775 - 1790.
A very fine antique violin with a beautiful dark-brown varnish/p - and a beautiful aged patina.
This violin is made of beautiful wood - a very nice flamed two-piece back, made of maple,  flamed ribs and a good carved scroll. 
This violin produces a powereful and warm tone, with plenty of personality, it is a very fine violin for orchestral work or old music ensemble playing. 
The violin comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest, tailpiece,it has a few old repairs from the past. (table repairs).
