Beautiful French violin bow with a beautiful tortoiseshell frog imitation.
Volin bow by Louis Morizot freres - c. 1960 made - with stamp and Certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.

This is a beautiful example of the Morizot work.
The L. Morizot Frères obtained the highly reputated award, "Exposition Artisanale Paris" in 1929 for their superbe work.
The strong stick is made from the finest red brown pernambuco wood and is octogonal shaped.
The ebony frog ring is nickel with pearl eyes and a fine 1- part screw (all original)
A strong bow, with a fine balance and a strong tone production.
The total length of the stick is around 72,3 cm and the weight of the bow is around 60 gr.
The bow is straight and has a beautiful cuve.
Fine new winding, hair and new leather grip.
