A beautiful French violin bow made by Marcel Lapierre, ca.1960 certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.
Marcel Charles Lapierre (1907 -d.1979) has been described as a "Maker of very fine bows much sought after by soloists".
Beautiful frog with pearl eyes and original adjuster.
The meidum strong stick is made from the finest orange brown pernambuco wood and has good playing characteristics - and is round shaped,
The total length of the stick is around 73,1 cm and the weight of the bow is around 59 gr.
The bow is ready to play, with new hair, leather grip and silver winding.
Authentic French violin bow which drwas a beautiful sound and a strong projection.
No cracks , good curve.
