Beautiful old German viola circa 1900.

A fine old master viola circa 1900.
This fine viola is made in the famous Klingenthal area of Germany.
Interestisng viola 15.1 inch - 385 mm back size.

The viola in a good original condition.
A beautiful well made one-piece back of fine maple, a very elegant and well shaped scroll. 
The sound is strong, deep, focussed and warm, very responsive.

The work is quite good : fine edge work with 
a beautiful brownish  varnish.

This viola comes with a new set of strings, chinrest etc.,...

The viola produces a strong open, but warm tone.
LOB: 385 mm (small 4/4 - adult size).
