Old Italian master violin by Giovanni Battista Panizzi - San Remo
A beautiful certified old Italian violin made by Giovanni Battista Panizzi - San Remo - ca. 1937.
This beautiful Italian instrument wears its original Panizzi brand-stamp (neck block).
This particular violin is made for his brother Sandro, who was a well knwon violin player & composer, and the violin is a tribute to his brother,and is wearing his label.

A violin with a lot of personality and Italian character !
A very nice two-piece back; very symmetrical top with interesting arch of this fine Italian violin.

The beautiful varnish orange/brown coloured varnish is attractively layered.
The sound is warm, round, mature and warm.- suited for the advanced student or the professional violinist.
New tailpiece and strings included.
