Details
A fine old French master violin bow made by Pierre Cuniot. (made around 1875 !) - made after a lovely rare Tourte model.
Bows by P. Cuniot are quite hard to find.
Beautiful round reddish-brown pernambucco stick with a fine curve, and a good balance.
This bow plays easy and produces a big full and open sound.
The length of the stick is around 72.4 cm and the weight of the bow is around 59 gr.
It comes with new hair, new winding and leather grip.
Ebony frog with pearl eyes and three part adjuster.
All parts original.

Quality
The Cuniot violin bow is a good bow for its price.
For me a little bitto heavy, I prefer a bow ca. 57 grams. (Posted on 15-02-2018)
