A Beautiful Pierre Hel viola - 1923.

A very fine master viola made by Pierre Hel (atelier)- in 1923 - France, made
after a beautiful J.B. Vuillaume model.
Pierre Hel was the son, of to the French violin maker Joseph Hel.
A fine viola with a beautiful yellow - mellow patina , fine carved edges and typical fine purfling.
This viola is made of fine wood- a super nice flamed two-piece back, made of, nicely figured maple, 
flamed ribs and a good elegant scroll. Its one of the better French made violins.
This viola produces a brilliant but warm open and clear tone. with a strong projection.
The viola comes with a new set of strings and a new chinrest. 
The viola is in a good repaired condition. (professional repair table and ribs) 
The viola comes with a professional French certificate.
