A beautiful French cello bow by Prosper Colas - made around 1900, and certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.

Prosper Colas (1842 - 1919) was trained in Mirecourt and worked for J.B. Vuillaume in Paris.

This cello bow impersonates all of the superbe playing qualities that French bows are well known for.

Beautiful brown pernambuco stick, souple and elegant, draws a full sound.

The lenght of the stick is around 69 cm (4/4 size), and the perfect weight of the bow is ca. 76 g.

It comes with a new hair, new winding, ready to play.
