A fine French cello bow made by R. François Lotte in a beautiful Cuniot-Hury mode (branded on the stick)l and certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.
Beautiful brown pernambuco stick, round shaped, strong and flexible with a good balance and fine quality..
The length of the stick is around 69,8 cm (4/4 size), and the weight of the bow is ca. 79 g.
It comes with new winding and leather grip, ready to play.
Beautiful ebony frog with pearl eyes and three part original adjuster.
This cello bow has a good, fast action, it fells not to heavy in the hand, and it is well balanced.
It produces a strong a open cello-tone, full of detail.

More French cello bows

Roger studied the art of bow making with his father and took over his shop around 1960.
He made bows for: George Deblaye, Dupuy, Léon Mougenot, E. Vatelot, Roger & Max Millant and 
Bernard Millant amongst others.
His best bows made entirely by himself are stamped: Roger François Lotte and sometimes Roger Lotte.
