A real master violin bow from one of the greatest 19 century French bow makers !
made around he year 1850.
Nicolas Simon (SIMON FR) Born 1806, died 1864 Mirecourt France. Fine Mirecourt bow maker. Pecatte school.
A good strong stick make from very beautiful unflamed snakewood, which is well known for its superbe tonal and playing characteristics. 
Beautiful original ebony frog and button.
The total length of the stick is around 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is around 61 gr.
The bow is ready to play, with new quality Mongolian horse hair and new winding and leather grip.
A warm and powerful violin sound ! No cracks or repairs.

A real authentic French master bow that draws a strong and fulll violin sound.
