A beautiful French violin bow made by Emilie-Auguste Ouchard, certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.
Emile Auguste Ouchard is one of the finest bow makers ofthe 20th century, received many honors & awards,
including the Grand Prix of the 1942 International Paris Exhibition.
This French master bow is made in a beautifull example of Emile Auguste Ouchard's work.(made ca. 1920) .
The elegant and strong stick is made from very beautiful medium-brownish pernambuco wood and is octogonal shaped.
Very nice bony frog with pearl eyes and a fine three part screw.(all original) A good strong stick,
with great balance and a good feel in the right hand.
The total length of the stick is around 72.5 cm and the weight of the bow is around 60 gr.
The bow is straight and has a good curve, no cracks or repairs.
The bow is ready to play, with used Mongolian horse hair.
Fine new winding and new dwark brown lizard leather grip.
