This fine French viola bow by Louis Morizot fr- c. 1925 made - with original stamp and Certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.

This is a very beautiful and special example of the master's work - a small range of master bows he made with turtle shell frog.
The L. Morizot Frères obtained the highly reputated award, "Exposition Artisanale Paris" in 1929 for their superbe work.
The strong stick is made from the finest red brown pernambuco wood and is octogonal shaped.
The ebony frog ring is gold with pearl eyes and a fine three part golden screw and golden tip-plate.(all original)
A strong good bow, with a fine balance and a strong tone production.
The total length of the stick is around 72,3 cm and the weight of the bow is around 68 gr.
The bow is straight and has a beautiful cuve.
