A very nice French silver mounted violin bow made by Louis Morizot (père) - ca 1930.
This is a fantastic bow ! The bow bears the original Morizot brand stamp on the stick.
Louis Morizot won the Grand Prix at the first exhibition Artisanale de Paris in 1924.
Gold medal at the Exposition Artisanale de Paris in 1927
The beautiful dark brown pernambuco stick, is round shaped - with a refined elegant design and a good balance.
Balance pont : .ca. 25.5 cm.
The length of the stick is around 72.6 cm and the weight of the bow is around 60.4 gr.
The bow is ready to play, with new grip and hair,, a beautiful ebony frog , with pearl eyes and original
silver adjuster. Good repaired condition.
This Morizot violin bows feels very comfortable in the hand, its responds fast and produces a strong violin tone.
