A very beautiful old French violin bow - ca 1870 made - in a beautiful and very rare Simon fils de Jean model - certified by J.F. Raffin in Paris.
Lovely masterly hand- decorated round shaped stick made from beautiful dark brown/reddish wood - well curved - super rare !
A very fine ebony frog and button, (also from the same period).
The total length of the stick is around 71,9 cm  (4/4 size/) and the weight of the bow is around 61 gr.
The bow is ready to play, with new quality Mongolian horse hair and silver winding and exclusive leather grip.
